The inspiration for this series struck when I snapped a few quick photos of my friend and neighbor, Jaz, tending to her balcony garden in the Historic West End of Atlanta. Seeing her so at peace and radiant, so in her element, began my journey of celebrating black women reclaiming their peace at home during a time of great uncertainty.
