I’ve discovered how important energy is to me. “Issa vibe” isn’t just a saying- for me, it’s being intentional and deliberate in the energy I put in the world and what I let in.

I’ve also been reading… a lot! I’ve always enjoyed reading, but I’ve focused on Black authors and Black stories, and it’s been amazing getting lost in such a relatable world and supporting people that look like me.

And I’ve even further learned that my wife is my best friend.
